Restaurant at Sretenka
The restaurant situated in one of the most pleasant districts of the Moscow center (5 min. walking from Chistye Prudy metro station) with delicious home cuisines, fresh Bavarian beer and quite affordable prices. One of the main directions of restaurant work is arranging different events (weddings, birthday, corporate parties): two banquet halls for 100 and 60 people have been opened recently with a stage, dance-floor, light and sound equipment and everything that is necessary for organizing a good entertainment program. There are two negotiation cabinets for 6 and 10 people ready for you. Special attention should be paid to a very comfortable Bavarian hall with brick arches of the XVIII century. One of the main advantages of the restaurant “At Sretenka” is beer. Fresh beer is brought here in oak casks prepared in small German brew-houses which grow their own malt and hop and use water from form clearest lakes. For example, you can try Ayinger here – it’s “live” Munich beer that is brewed and preserved according to flash-technology – it allows avoiding pasteurization but saves taste qualities of the drink.
In the restaurant “At Sretenka” the food is cooked only “from under the knife”, the only semi-finished product here is cold smoked pork knuckles that are brought from Germany in vacuum package and baked before serving. The menu includes Russian and European cuisine, and there is also the section of traditional Bavarian dishes where you can find Munich and Nurnberg sausages with sauce, mashed potatoes and Westphalian cabbage or Bavarian meat pies: layered paste with minced meat stewed in beer, raw-cured sausage, pickled cucumbers and Alpine herbs. You should definitely order a lamb leg baked in red wine with rosemary, beef loin with the sauce form chef, salmon baked with mushrooms and cheese under “White wine” sauce. “Olivie” salad is prepared here in a very original way: with duck breast, veal tongue, soy sprouts, capers and homemade mayonnaise. For dessert you may order, for instance, caramelized apples in Chinese paste with vanilla ice-cream.
From 12:00 till 16:00 there are business-lunches served in the restaurant “At Sretenka” (250 rubles including dessert). In the evening you can have a date here: everyday beginning from 19:30 there is live music. One of the rooms regularly shows sport translations: the fans come here to watch Russian and English football, hockey and all key international matches.
