Busy Prospekt Mira avenue. Bright advertisements, shop and restaurant signboards. Hectic lifestyle of a big city with everyday problems and unbelievably fast speed of life. In this crazy rhythm people hardly have time and possibility to stop for a moment an take a break. Come to the cafe “Banderoll” and in a few minutes all your troubles will fade into insignificance.
At first, the creators of “Banderoll” planned to open a democratic cafe for the general public with good cuisine and ordinary interior. But, as it often happens, in the work process of project creation the views and opinions about the establishment were changing. As a result, instead of an ordinary cafeteria people saw a stylish, modern and exquisitely beautiful restaurant.
Two big restaurant halls have been made in the common classical style with some Italian accents in decoration elements: white bricks, warm chocolate colors, orange sofas “reduced” by other bright colors, crystal panels with photographs of skyscrapers and stripped lamps on the walls and the ceiling. All furniture in the cafe is made from natural materials and is very comfortable.
Cafe “Banderoll” is a piece of heaven which is ready to welcome and warmly “embrace” you in any time of day and night.
In daytime it’s the best place for business meetings and negotiations: you can cloister with your partners in one of the small cabinets (for 11 and 20 people) and calmly discuss your current business with no worries that somebody could disturb you. And in night time “Banderoll” becomes the heart of romance: the candles are lit in high chandeliers, the lights are dimmed and the soft beautiful music can be heard in the halls. Isn’t it a perfect atmosphere for a love confession, quiet dinner or the first date?
Any meeting in this cafe will be not only very beautiful but very tasty too. Cafe “Banderoll” presents to its guests the popular European cuisine with Italian and French specialization. Ruccola salad with tuna, mozzarella with tomatoes, beef carpaccio, many different kinds of pasta and risotto, seafood, meat and fish dishes and many other things – it’s a real taste feast!
Our desserts should be mentioned with due attention. Crème-brulee, panna-cotta, various kinds of mousse and cakes are not just delicious but also are originally served.
The wine list is rather wide – about 40 items including wine from France, Italy and New World of different price range and for any taste. The same is about strong alcoholic drinks – every guest can find here something for his or her taste.
“Banderoll” isn’t trying to be like something else, on the contrary, it always tries to offer its guests something new and interesting. Perhaps that’s exactly why Moscow people love this place so much.
